SNAKES ALIVE is a fan-made rallying cry for the Arizona Diamondbacks' unlikely World Series run

The Diamondbacks lost 3-1 Monday night to the Texas Rangers in the World Series. And while the team is now a game behind, there’s always tonight. And fans can turn to a newfound rallying cry in hopes of a comeback.

The official slogan of this year’s Diamondbacks team is “Embrace the Chaos.” But when a guy named Jeff Guzzardo showed up halfway through the National League Championship Series with SNAKES ALIVE printed in black and white on an 8.5-by-11-inch piece of paper, a star was born. And a new slogan.

The D-backs made their own version of the sign and attached a copy to every seat at Chase Field. Players, including closer Paul Sewald, made T-shirts. The team even flashed SNAKES ALIVE on the jumbotron.

Game 4 is tonight, and Guzzardo says he plans on attending.
