Bureau of Land Management Lake Havasu office seeks input on plan to treat habitat

The Bureau of Land Management’s Lake Havasu Field Office is seeking public input on an Environmental Assessment for a plan to treat Invasive plants on up to 500 acres a year.

The agency wants to stop the proliferation of invasive weeds in order to reduce wildfire risk and protect habitat for wildlife.

Methods of treatment could include mechanical thinning, chemicals and fire.
