Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray to play Sunday for first time since tearing ACL

It looks like Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will play this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons. It would be the first game for Murray since tearing his ACL in a game against the New England Patriots last December.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon said the team is preparing as if Murray will start on Sunday in Glendale.

“We feel good about him being healthy enough to play," Gannon said. "Every team in the NFL is banged up, and we’ll put our best foot forward and get the right pieces in there and give ourselves a chance to win a game.”

The Cardinals must activate Murray this week for him to be eligible to play this season.
