This year, Arizonans can look forward to a cheaper Thanksgiving dinner.
The average price of a frozen, 16-pound turkey was $32.02 last year.
Now, that same frozen turkey sells on average for $18.32.

Julie Murphree with the Farm Bureau says the cost difference is a matter of supply.
"Last year, a lot of our fowl was dealing with the avian flu. Well apparently that’s not the issue this year, and we have a greater increase in turkeys across the United States," she said.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture reports turkey production in 2022 totaled nearly 6.7 billion pounds, a 7% decrease from the previous year.
