The Bureau of Land Management is seeking comment on an environmental review of a proposed travel management plan near Safford.
The proposal outlines designated routes and access for everything from hiking and camping to ATV use.
The area covers nearly a million acres and has experienced an increase in demand for outdoor recreation in recent years.
The public comment period closes Dec. 16.
