A winter storm dropped snow over parts of northern Arizona at higher elevations Friday.
Meteorologist Jeremy Mazzone with the National Weather Service in Flagstaff says to expect scattered showers that taper off Saturday.
“Mostly cloudy conditions today into tomorrow and that’ll impact a wider area, even some areas that don’t see precipitation,” said Mazzone. “Along with that, we are expecting some pretty gusty winds, especially along the Mogollon Rim and downwind.”
Mazzone said as the system exits the state, it’ll bring temperatures down 15 degrees lower than usual.
