The joys — and surprises — of taking walks at night

Lots of people enjoy taking walks. Here in the Valley, that’s especially true now, as the temperatures are starting to come down.

But, especially in the cooler months, it’s less common to take a stroll after the sun goes down. Bianca Giaever, though, spent a couple weeks this summer doing just that.

Giaever is a radio producer, filmmaker and host of podcast called Constellation Prize. She’s written about her experience of night walking, and The Show spoke more with her about it.

The conversation covered how she came upon the idea of taking walks at night and her research into its history.
