Residents in northern Arizona experienced intense weather conditions as a winter storm brought rain and snow on Friday afternoon.
The National Weather Service reported rain in different regions of the northern part of the state.
Page Konieczny is a meteorologist with the Weather Service based in Flagstaff.
“A majority of locations were less than a half an inch, but we did see, it looks like one location in Apache County was at an inch of rain," Konieczny said.
Konieczny says a “slight warming trend” over the weekend will raise temperatures back up.
