Coconino National Forest officials don't want to you decorate trees in the wild

The U.S. Forest Service recently warned about Christmas tree decorating within the Coconino National Forest.

Officials said they received serval calls recently about decorated trees.

The agency says decorations eventually become trash and could be hazardous to the flora and fauna in the environment — and it could also cost you.

Officials will take down decorations and may issue violation notices for individuals breaking the rules. People can receive fines of $150 or more.
