Wet weather and cooler high temperatures will move into the Valley this week, on the heels of above average highs.
Phoenix-based National Weather Service meteorologist Ryan Worley said the metro region is likely to receive a decent amount of rain late in the week.
“Early indications are that we could see anywhere from a half an inch up to possibly an inch of rain. Here in Phoenix, things are certainly going to change as things become more ironed out as we get closer,” said Worley.
The 7-day forecast is calling for a 20% chance of rain after 11 p.m. Tuesday and a 50% chance of heavy showers by Thursday night.
