AAA says Arizona may face longer wait times for help with car trouble

Depending upon where you’re driving in Arizona this holiday weekend, inclement weather could pose an impediment.

According to AAA Arizona spokesperson Julian Paredes, drivers who experience automotive troubles on the road should anticipate slower response times for help.

“It’s really hard to get everybody as quickly as we want to,” said Parades. “So, that’s why it’s really smart to just do what you can for yourself to prevent breakdowns. Do some basic maintenance, just because there are so many people out there traveling.”

More than 2.2 million people in Arizona are expected to travel at least 50 miles from home over the next nine days, most by car.
