Snowmaking is keeping Arizona Snowbowl open so far

Northern Arizona hasn’t seen much snow yet this season but snowmaking is helping to keep skiers coming up.

It’s snowed less than two feet at Arizona Snowbowl since the resort opened Nov. 17.

"We currently have seven out of eight of our chairlifts open. We have 17 out of our 55 trails open," said Snowbowl’s Angelina Grubb.

The Christmas holidays weren’t as busy as last year, but the resort is anticipating more crowds during January and February holidays.
