Mexican food and Mexican culture are widely enjoyed in Arizona restaurants, but a new report from Pew Research Center shows we’re not alone in our love of tacos, enchiladas, guacamole, tortillas and more.
According to the report, about one in 10 restaurants in the United States serve Mexican food. In fact, 85% of all U.S. counties have at least one Mexican restaurant.
Here in Arizona, we’ve got that national number beat. Mexican restaurants, from food trucks to upscale dining, account for 18% of all restaurants in the state.
