On the heels of Jedd Fisch leaving for the University of Washington, the Arizona Wildcats officially have a new head football coach.
Brent Brennan started his career in Tucson as a graduate assistant under the late Arizona coach Dick Tomey. After seven years coaching at San Jose State, Brennan expressed optimism upon his return to the desert.
“I’m trying to get to know the team,” said Brennan. “I absolutely believe we can build a consistent winner here. You have everything — we have everything you need to do that.”
Brennan said he plans to bring back the family atmosphere Tomey brought to the team, and thanked the community for its support as he re-enters the fold.
