Cold, rainy weather should be over as sunny days return to Phoenix

After bracing cold and rainy weather recently, Valley residents will experience dryer and warmer conditions this week. The National Weather Service based in Phoenix forecasts highs will reach the mid 60s tomorrow and increase as the week progresses.

Matt Salerno is a meteorologist with the agency.

“Heading into the middle of the week we’ll look at highs turning into the low 70s by Tuesday and Wednesday. So overall, it looks like a pretty nice week coming up here and we’re gonna stay dry through the whole week,” he said.

Besides minor winds, no extreme weather conditions are forecast in the Valley.
