ADOT wants you to vote on names for 3 new snowplows

Incredibly, February has already brought 45 inches of snowfall to northern Arizona — keeping the Arizona Department of Transportation’s fleet of snowplows very busy clearing highways and roads of ice and snow. Three new snowplows are ready to be added to the fleet — they just need name.

ADOT just announced the finalists in its second Name-a-Snowplow Contest — about 3,400 entries were received and those have been narrowed down to the final 10. Some of The Show's favorites include Scoopacabra, Fast and Flurryous, Snowbi-Wan Kenobi and The Plower Express.

The three names with the most votes will be emblazoned on the driver’s side of the snowplow cabs, and it’s not too late for you to weigh in. Voting closes at the end of the day on Thursday, Feb. 15.
