Girl Scout cookies are made by 2 different bakeries. The Show held a taste test

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: Girl Scout cookie season. But it turns out, not all Girl Scout cookies are created equal.

One of The Show’s producers is a former Girl Scout, and she recently brought it to our attention that the Girl Scouts actually work with two different cookie bakers. This can result in different recipes, flavor lineups and different names — depending on what part of the country you’re in.

Arizona is served by Little Brownie Bakers, but we managed to get our hands on some ABC Bakers cookies sold in Southern California. Earlier this week, The Show's hosts headed into the studio to compare the two bakers in a head-to-head test.

After The Show's tasting experiment, the rest of the KJZZ newsroom voted on which cookie recipe was better. ABC Bakers — the California cookie — won all three times.
