Maricopa County Library District connects 14 public library systems in new program

The Maricopa County Library District has officially unveiled a new program dubbed  “MAX,” which creates a book borrowing and lending partnership between 14 public library systems across the county.

For book lovers in Maricopa County, the amount of books accessible through one library card just got bigger.

Readers that cannot find a book at their local library can now search the MAX catalog and have that book shipped to their desired pickup library location within the county at no extra cost.

Some rules do apply, including a $20 book damage fee, a limit on the amount of books that can be checked out at once and no renewals.
