Pinal County sheriff files signatures to qualify for GOP primary for U.S. Senate

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb has filed signatures to qualify for the Arizona Republican primary ballot in a run for U.S Senate.

“We’re going to be turning in over 13,000 signatures. So we will be on the ballot for the U.S. Senate here on the Republican side," Lamb said.

Lamb turned in nearly double the amount required. Kari Lake filed about 10,000 signatures for the same contest.

The state’s primary election is July 30.
