Phoenix residents face possible rainy weather entering workweek

The possibility of rainy weather may continue into the beginning of the workweek. The conditions come as a result of a low pressure system coming through.

Matt Salerno is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

"We're going to see a decent rainfall between Sunday and Monday  with the totals overall ranging from maybe a half inch to an inch for the metro and then even slightly higher amounts up in the foothills north and east of Phoenix," he said.

Salerno says those with outdoor plans should be prepared.
