Arizona veterans can book appointments with benefits counselors online

The Arizona Department of Veterans’ Services launched  an online appointment system using the software company Calendly earlier this year, but former service members may still not know about it.

The move was made to improve scheduling meetings with veterans benefits counselors, according to Gary Ochoa, with the department. Those veterans who aren’t tech savvy can still book appointments via phone at 602-535-1215, or in person at one of 25 sites across the state.

“Our [counselors] s bring in more than $84 million per month in VA benefits for veterans across the state,” Ochoa stated in a release. “This improvement to our appointment system will allow us to support more Arizona veterans to ensure they obtain the benefits they’ve rightly earned through their military service.”
