Maricopa County recorder hosts election center livestream

Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer on Monday gave an online tour of the county’s tabulation and election center, and took public questions on how it enforces security.

It was part of Richer’s efforts to counter widespread claims of fraud in Maricopa County surrounding the 2020 and 2022 general elections. None of those claims have been substantiated in court.

For those that missed the digital tour, Richer notes the facility is also able to be viewed 24/7.

"You can go to elections.maricopa.gov and you can go to information and you can go to live video feeds and you can open up and you can see this room and you can see us in here through two different screens if that’s something that excites you," Richer said during the stream.

The county is also offering in person tours of the election facility.
