Most Arizonans, regardless of party affiliation, agree that there should be a path to citizenship for immigrants.
That is according to a recent survey by the bipartisan nonprofit group Center for the Future of Arizona.
Center president and CEO Sybil Francis says the numbers came as a bit of a surprise.
"We found very strong support. 77% support for enacting comprehensive immigration reform that includes a pathway to citizenship," Francis said.
The results also showed 82% of likely voters wanted elected officials to act on the humanitarian and refugee crisis at the southern border.
