Coconino National Forest officials have reopened a popular Flagstaff-area trail and added new hiking and riding paths.
The Mount Elden Trailhead is the national forest’s busiest region. It reopened recently after two months of reconstruction that expanded the parking lot to accommodate 50 vehicles and included a new mountain biking trail: the Full Sail Trail.
The 2.5 mile trail connects to another complex of new trails that have been added recently in the Mount Elden Dry Lake Hills area of the forest.
