Grand Canyon National Park will be hosting a star party on both the South and North rims this weekend.
The park’s 34th annual weeklong event is free to the public and parking passes are good for seven days, so you could view on both rims for one price.
Reservations, red flashlights and warm clothes are recommended for these viewings.
Observations start at sunset but park officials say the best views can be seen after 9 p.m. and some telescopes are packed up by 11 p.m. The night includes guest speakers and nighttime constellation tours.
