Flagstaff awoke today to smoke-filled skies after fire ignited at the nearby Camp Navajo military training site.
The Bravo Fire sparked Thursday morning at the Arizona National Guard facility; officials say its origins remain unknown. It’s burned at least 1,400 acres and residents in several neighborhoods were warned to prepare for evacuation. A flight restriction has been implemented over the area.
The site is closed but officials said there is no immediate threat to buildings or people.
