Chandler is seeing new growth within its aerospace manufacturing industry. C.E. Precision Assemblies announced Thursday that it would be expanding into a larger facility.

The company will move to a facility near Interstate 10 and Chandler Boulevard by May 2026 that is nearly four times larger than its current space.

C.E. Precision Assemblies says it will hire 20 to 30 new workers in the next two years.

Chandler Economic Development Director Micah Miranda says the manufacturer has acted as an anchor in the area for decades.

“By staying, they obviously continue that leadership position and they’ll be adding employment to that area,” Miranda said.

Miranda said the expansion is due to heightened demands for the company. C.E. Precision Assemblies produces cables and wires that are most often used in rockets or aircraft.

“When a company stays and expands it has induced indirect impacts on the local economy so by staying and growing there’s going to be more people going out for lunch, more people seeking services,” Miranda said.

Miranda said Chandler is looking to attract more manufacturing and aerospace companies to the area through workforce development strategies and marketing.
