The Tempe Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Microsoft and Linked In to offer free online courses for students, job seekers, professionals and retirees.

The Community Skills Initiative is designed to teach digital skills in English and Spanish. Courses range from foundational skills like how to use the internet safely and responsibly to software development, data analysis and understanding and integrating artificial intelligence in business.

“This is a really great opportunity for anybody that wants to learn a little bit about AI, maybe is looking to go out on a business on their own or just wants to know a little bit more about maybe raising capital. I mean, there's so many different pathways within this program,” said Robin Arredondo-Savage, interim CEO for the Tempe Chamber of Commerce.

The courses are free and available to people who live in and outside Tempe. A LinkedIn account is required and students can get a certificate for completing each course.

More information can be found at communityskilling.org/partner/tempe#pathways.
