Arizona gas costs continue to fall, with prices dropping by about 4 cents last week.

According to AAA, the current Arizona gas price is about $3.22 a gallon for regular. A year ago, the average price was about $3.87 a gallon statewide.

“The most expensive gas across Arizona is in Graham County. It’s averaging about $3.44 a gallon there. Pinal County actually has the cheapest at $3.10," said Julian Paredes, a spokesperson for AAA.

Paredes says the decrease comes as a result of oil price stability in the middle of conflicts associated with the Middle East and Ukraine.

Costs dropped for both the state and national average.

Paredes says gas prices “will more than likely keep dropping” over the next few weeks.
