The town of Queen Creek wants a two-story family friendly, full-service steak restaurant.

A request for proposals has a developer leasing land on the Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre with the restaurant providing a view of the main competition arena. The town owns the 38-acre park, which hosts equestrian events, along with fairs, concerts and Monster Truck events.

Queen Creek, located about 40 miles southeast of downtown Phoenix, is among the nation’s fastest growing communities. The town says within 10 miles of Horseshoe Park, there are more than 450,000 residents.

Proposals for the restaurant are due by 3 p.m. on Feb. 19. A pre-bid non-mandatory meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 10 at Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre 20464 E. Riggs Road, Queen Creek, AZ 85142
