Phoenix Sky Harbor’s latest traffic figures are already showing an increase from last year’s record-breaking travel. According to airport spokesperson, Eric Everts, numbers for October are significantly higher than the same period last year.

"It’s about a 5.3% increase from October of 2023, where we had just over 4.3 million passengers come through the airport and that was during our busiest year ever," Everts said.

Everts said November figures, including Thanksgiving, won’t be available until the end of the year, but 2024 is already looking like an impressive travel year.

Up until October, 43 million passengers had passed through Sky Harbor.
