Chandler is gearing up for an 8,000-square-foot expansion to a longstanding research facility for Integrated Biometrics.
“Our role here is really facilitating that expansion, making sure their expansion is seamless, frictionless,” said Micah Miranda, the city’s economic director. “And they're able to focus on growing their business instead of worrying about permits or real estate needs, we really aim to make that as easy as possible for them.”
Miranda said the expansion will likely be a matter of months and the expansion will fit in well with the rest of Chandler’s long-term economic vision.
“We have target industry clusters that we work with,” said Miranda, “and those include advanced manufacturing, information technology, health care, advanced business services, and automotive technology. What Integrated Biometrics does, it really touches all of those.”
Miranda said being an early adopter of new technologies, and its community and economic stability are big draws for businesses to come to Chandler.
