Sierra Vista in southern Arizona finalized a letter of intent with tech company BlackStar Orbital Technologies, with plans to build a 30,000-foot spacecraft research, development, and manufacturing facility at the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport.
BlackStar Orbital creates reusable satellites which are then leased to companies to provide services like internet, weather monitoring, or mapping.
