Attention adventurous eaters — the Arizona State Fair is here.
Fair officials on Wednesday released the big list of unusual foods that will be available at this year’s event. There are more than 40 new options.
The fair will be serving up old favorites — such as funnel cakes, deep-fried everything and burgers — and many new treats, including Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup, Ice Cream Nachos and Pop Tart Ice Cream Sandwich. (There's even a food map to help you navigate all the choices.)
There are a couple ways to save money on the often-pricey eats. Every night in September, get $16 in fair food for $10 after 10 p.m. On Fridays in October, check out Food Flight Fridays, where “fan-favorite bites” will be $5 each.
The fair opens Friday, Sept. 19, and closes Sunday, Oct. 26.
