The city of Tempe is opening a Disaster Assistance Resource Center on Thursday for residents affected by the Oct. 13 microburst.

Multiple agencies will be on hand to provide information on debris removal, crisis counseling, and food and emergency resources.

"We’re gonna have a number of city resources as well as other partners from state and county resources as well as some non-profits that all have different resources to assist people that were impacted by this storm," says interim emergency manager Monique Rodriguez.

The center is being held at Community Christian Church through Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. each day.
