Arizona’s statewide average for gas prices dropped by 6 cents after Christmas. It’s now about $3.05 a gallon. That’s a few cents lower than this time last year but is still well above the national average.
AAA Arizona’s Julian Paredes said he expects prices to remain relatively stable.
"Winter has historically been a pretty calm time for gas prices so no major changes are expected for the next few weeks. Things are pretty calm right now," Paredes said.
The most expensive gas in the state is in Graham County and the least expensive is in La Paz County.
