Arizona customers that get their internet service from CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber will be migrating over to a new parent company: AT&T.
AT&T has completed its more than $5 billion purchase of virtually all of Lumen’s Mass Markets fiber internet business, which include CenturyLink and Quantum Fiber.
A spokesperson for AT&T says the company “will continue to support CenturyLink customers.” The company says it will continue to offer Quantum Fiber to customers where the service is available.
And Arizona customers will eventually have the ability to migrate over to AT&T Fiber once it’s made available in their market.
AT&T plans to boost its investment in local fiber infrastructure in Arizona by 50% this year.
