The Phoenix Suns and Mortgage Matchup Center will host the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2027, the league announced Sunday.
“From our community to our fans, there is an energy and passion that sets our city apart,” Suns owner Mat Ishbia said in a statement. “We look forward to welcoming fans from around the world and showcasing what makes Phoenix special.”
Phoenix previously hosted NBA All-Star Games in 1975, 1995 and 2009. Those games get a nod on the new 2027 All-Star Game logo, which features four stars — one for each game — next to a Suns logo with a sunset gradient inspired by the team’s iconic “The Valley” jerseys.
Hype is already building around next year’s 3-Point Contest. After watching Damian Lillard narrowly defeat Suns star Devin Booker to win his third 3-point title during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles on Saturday, Stephen Curry announced he’s going to compete in 2027.
Curry holds the NBA record for most 3-pointers made. He’s hoping to be joined by his “Splash Brother,” Klay Thompson, along with Booker and Lillard for a showdown in the desert.
All-Star Weekend will also include the Slam Dunk Contest and the Shooting Stars competition, which teams current and former NBA players in a shooting contest.
