Rainbow Cone plans to open its first Arizona location, right here in the Valley.
The Chicago-based business has specialized in stacking sliced flavors of ice cream since 1926.
Their famous ice cream cone features an assortment of flavors including chocolate, strawberry and orange sherbet.

The menu also features ice cream cakes, old fashioned mini doughnuts and other treats beyond its well-known ice cream cone.
The grand opening for the new location in Surprise — near Litchfield and Waddell roads — is scheduled for March 30.
The first 100 people to show up are expected to receive a free ice cream treat.
