Gas prices are falling across the country since a peace deal was reached with Iran. In Arizona, the average has dropped to $4.29 per gallon — down 19 cents from last week. But that’s still a dollar higher than a year ago.
And Doug Johnson with AAA Arizona says the summer driving season could keep prices from dropping further.
"Gas prices, because of supply and demand, usually stay pretty high ahead of holiday weekends. So with the Fourth of July coming up, we do anticipate that gas prices will stay about where they are," Johnson said.
Johnson says Graham County currently has the highest price in Arizona, at $4.70 per gallon. And Pima County has the cheapest, at $4.18.
