The city of Tempe has gathered design ideas from an initial round of public feedback and now wants input to help refine plans for Tempe Town Lake’s north bank.
The city is planning public amenities and planned park space along the bank.
The window for online public comment was scheduled to close June 30, but the city has extended the deadline to complete the survey to July 5.

The city said it wants the park to complement the lake for everyday use and special events. The current proposal includes public spaces along the shore, including a boardwalk, restored habitats, dining options and a stage on the water.
The expansion of Tempe Beach Park would span the north shore from the marina to the dam.
