Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport was ranked as one of the top airports in North America for passenger satisfaction.
JD Power ranked Sky Harbor as the third best mega airport for passenger satisfaction in its 2026 North American Airport Satisfaction study.
A mega airport is defined as serving more than 33 million passengers per year.
Sky Harbor comes in just behind Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International, which ranks as the top airport for the third consecutive year.
Sky Harbor scored 642 out of 1,000.
The study is based on nearly 25,000 passenger surveys from the U.S and Canada, and looked at several factors, including construction projects; clear signage and easily navigable terminals; local branding, including local cuisine options; and passenger experience, including spending habits.
