The University of Arizona will end a program bringing nutrition education to people on food assistance throughout the state.
AZ Health Zone is what Arizona calls its version of the educational outreach component of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, known nationally as SNAP-Ed.
UA officials said SNAP-Ed services end Sept. 30.
