A man was found dead inside Grand Canyon National Park on Saturday morning. There have been more than a dozen deaths at the park so far in 2024.
In a news release, park officials said Patrick Horton, 59, of Salida, Colorado, was found at about 5:30 Saturday morning.
Horton was on the 10th day of a river trip along the Colorado River when his body was discovered by members of his own party.
