Coconino County will use a nearly half-million dollar grant to make housing more stable for area residents.
The $440,000 from the Arizona Department of Housing will be used to help people at risk from homelessness but who will stabilize from the funding.
That includes covering costs like car repairs, air-conditioning or utility deposits. Applicants must be earning less than 80% of the area median income and have run out of other resources.
