It might snow. Granted, a very small chance but still. That’s the forecast for early next week in the Flagstaff area.
First the bad news: Northern Arizona closed out 2024 with a bleak snow forecast. In fact, at just 2.7 inches this snow season so far, it was one of the driest New Year’s Eves in the National Weather Service’s records.
But that may change on Tuesday when the forecast shows a slight chance of snow, according agency meteorologist Ryan Bernhart.
"But the chance is 20 to 30% at the moment. Increasing winds and clouds this weekend could introduce snow to lower elevations even if only a tiny amount," Bernhart said.
