Officials tell parents have 'uncomfortable conversations' with children to keep them safe

Law enforcement officials in northern Arizona are warning parents to stay aware of their children’s interactions with others. The warning comes after nearly 30 people were arrested, some on child sex trafficking charges, last week.

Because I think this is an eye opening operation for a lot of people that are realizing maybe it’s dangerous out there," said Coconino County Attorney Ammon Barker. "So I would urge people to really have these uncomfortable conversations and hard conversations with people that they love to make sure they’re being protected."

Some of those arrested in a police sting operation last week were accused of trying to lure children for exploitation several times.
