Hundreds attended a vigil Thursday, March 7, 2025, for San Carlos Apache teen Emily Pike. The 14-year-old’s brutalized remains were found in Gila County weeks after she went missing from a Mesa foster care home.

The FBI is offering up to a $75,000 reward for verifiable information identifying those responsible for the brutal murder of Emily Pike.

Emily was a San Carlos Apache 14-year-old who disappeared from her Mesa group home in January. Her body was found nearly a month later, more than 80 miles from where she was last seen.

Her death stirred an emotional response throughout Arizona and highlights a violent crisis disproportionately afflicting indigenous women, including those who’ve gone missing or been killed.

This is the second $75,000 reward seeking information about the case. San Carlos Apache Tribe Chairman Terry Rambler announced in March a $75,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in her murder.
