This fall, Tucson was supposed to be the new homebase of a major league Mexican baseball team. Named simply, the Tucson Baseball Team, the franchise says it’s forced to cancel another U.S. game amid visa processing delays.

The Tucson Baseball Team was scheduled to host its fifth home series game at Tucson’s Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium starting Nov. 18. But the team says it’ll be playing those games in Mexicali, Mexico, instead amid ongoing issues getting U.S. visas.

The major Mexican league team was formerly based in Navojoa, Sonora. Earlier this year, team leaders announced it would be moving to Tucson, marking the first time a Mexican team has been based in the U.S. But ahead of the first game in October, team owner Victor Cuevas said he’d been informed they had the wrong type of visa for the new U.S. base.

Games have been played in Mexico ever since. Six games remain for the Tucson-based season.
