Tucson leaders continue to discuss a public takeover of the city’s electric utility in the face of rising costs and long-term rate uncertainty.

That’s why, at the request of Mayor Regina Romero, City Council members discussed what transitioning to a city-owned electric utility could look like during Tuesday’s study session.
